Just getting warmed up. Don't forget to take a great little visit to Platte Kill, and there's whitewater on Beer Kill River - West Branch for all you adrenaline junkies. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Harvest Inn Motel is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Wallkill Golf Club. This       lake is so wonderful. This is a magnificent region for people who like lakes. Beaverman Lake is a lake close at hand. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Jerry a wet place; the wettest month of the year is regularly May, that's the one that rains the most; February is when it's the driest. Camping at Rainbow Valley Campground is always a glorious experience; hey, Gotta ski right? Mt. Peter is a good site to do that. Camping is available at Wanderwood                  Camp Ground; why not take a refreshing hike along the Vernooy Falls Trail. All through the summer highs here at Lake Jerry reach the 70's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 20's while Lake Jerry night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Jerry; Comfort Trail is a nice local trail, and a great nearby hotel is Jeronimo Hotel.
