If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Adirondack Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail, and obviously Doig Creek flows through this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Johnstown/Gloversville Super 8 Motel is a magnificent choice, and get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Sacandaga River.       This lake is so wonderful. Rainbows End is a wonderful local campground. Jerry Vly is located in the Adirondack Mountains. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Jerry Vly. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Doig Creek, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Johnstown-Gloversville, Ny is a nice site to spend a night or two. There are other places here than Jerry Vly, for example Middle                  Lake, and at Jerry Vly you always meet someone from Gloversville. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is plentiful here in the Adirondack Mountains. There's magnificent hiking along the Oregon Trail. Lakes? Sure, Murphy Lake is in close proximity. Jerry Vly is a reasonably wet place generally with a good deal of precipitation; November is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Through the days of summer here at Jerry Vly, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Jerry Vly descend into the 0's.
