Jerry Vly is a glorious location to visit for more than one day, Ranch Side Park is a glorious location to camp nearby, and whitewater paddling is fine on Sacandaga River. This site is unbeatable, just look at all the amusing stuff to do in the vicinity of Jerry Vly. Nearby lakes? Sure, Middle Lake is close to Jerry Vly; Rainbows End is a great campground nearby. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake       is so wonderful. Super 8 Johnstown/Gloversville is a tremendous site to get some rest. A large amount of rain falls at Jerry Vly; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting things the Adirondack Mountains has to offer. Why not explore close by Doig Creek if you're here at Jerry Vly; if you've had enough of Jerry Vly, Murphy Lake is nearby. Whohoo, so                  many entertaining things in one place! The Adirondack Mountains rocks! A great panorama of delightful Freds Mountain is available from Jerry Vly; there's brilliant hiking along the Oregon Trail. Summertime highs at Jerry Vly regularly tend to be in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Jerry Vly. Jerry Vly is a spot with many visitors from Gloversville, and if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Doig Creek.
