Swamps like Hopkins Swamp are fun to take a look at; glide down the rapids of Bowman Creek in a kayak. Twin Brooks Recreation is a delightful local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Binghamton. Through the warm months here at Jam Pond, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Highs during the winter are typically       in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Jam Pond temperatures fall to the 10's. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Toggenburg, and Jam Pond is not the only site nearby, Ashcraft Pond is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Bolster Hill is a peak you can catch a sight of from Jam Pond, and good skiing awaits you at Labrador Mountain. People from Cortland love to come to Jam Pond, of course you could also stop                  at Ellis Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. This place, Jam Pond, it simply has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Jam Pond is a great place to visit for more than one day, Salisbury Chenango Shores Campground is a great place to camp nearby, and Howard Johnson Binghamton is a good place to get some rest.
