Lakes? Sure, Laths Pond is in the vicinity. Jacox Pond really is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Hiking along the Woodtown Trail is great fun; if you come at the right time of year, Popolopen Creek offers some great whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn & Suites is a great spot       to spend a night or two, and do take a hike on the Stillwell Lake Trail. Jacox Pond is a wet place that gets lots of rainfall; most of the rain falls during May; February meanwhile is the driest month. The warmest time of the year at Jacox Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. Through the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Jacox Pond. This lake                  is so wonderful. Not far from Jacox Pond, you'll discover Barrett Pond which is a stunning lake, and wonderful skiing awaits you at Thunder Ridge. Jacox Pond is right by the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and Cat Hill is a peak you can observe from Jacox Pond. The Thayer Hotel is a glorious place to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Jacox Pond has to offer, you can camp at Beaver Pond.
