Howard Johnson Hotel is a delightful place to get some rest, and if you come at the right time of year, Ouleout Creek offers some perfect whitewater. Jackson Pond is a good location of typical rainfall; June is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. For the period of the warm months at Jackson Pond temperatures are mostly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends       down to the 50's.
