Go to Lake of the Isles if you want to go to a nice lake. Riveredge Resort is a perfect place to get some rest; you'll most likely meet some people from Watertown-Fort Drum here. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Watertown-Days Inn 1000 Islands is a good place to spend a night or two, and a wonderful place to camp here at Lake of the Isles is Seaway Island Resort. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Lake of the Isles.

| | Through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Lake of the Isles dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.
Gotta ski! Dry Hill is a perfect spot to do that, and paddling on Black River is so much fun. Lake of the Isles gets a typical amount of rain; all through November this area sees the most rain, and July is when it's the driest.

Park, and Brown Bay is rather close. Now, you may imagine that's loads but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Lake of the Isles. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Barnett Marsh is right nearby, and an afternoon playing golf at Thousand Island Country Club is always a joy.
