You truly should adore Inwood Lake. If you need a spot to stay Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel is a great choice, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because College Hill Golf Course is in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. The good people of Kingston like to hang out nearby; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Rondout Creek. Interlake Farm Campground is
a great campground here, and there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Wappinger Creek. At Inwood Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Inwood Lake.
