A visit to Inwood Lake is always a good idea. Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Inwood Lake. A lake nearby is Morgan Lake; get your heart beating on the nice whitewater of Rondout Creek. All the water falling down from the sky makes Inwood Lake a wet place; the month with most of the rain is May while February is generally the driest month. | | the nighttime is slightly colder of course, frequently in the 60's. Through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Inwood Lake. There's so much to do here at Inwood Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Interlake Farm Campground is a splendid location for that; a round of golf at nearby College Hill Golf Course is a magnificent way to kill some time. you at Days Inn Poughkeepsie. Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel is a good location to get some rest, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Inwood Lake; Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a delightful local trail. During your journey
to Inwood Lake you'll meet some folks from Kingston for sure, and the slopes of Thunder Ridge are so inviting nobody can resist. This lake is so wonderful. Inwood Lake is not the only spot close by, Vassar Lake is a close by lake,
and there's whitewater on Wappinger Creek for all you adrenaline kick people. Stay the night at Ulster County Four-h Camp, and since you're here, you could visit Fall Kill.
