A glorious site to camp here at The Inlet is Happy Hollow Campground; paddling on Independence River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Brantingham Golf Club; Brantingham Inn Motel is a great place to get some rest. All through the warm days of summer at The Inlet highs are mostly in the 70's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. Daytime       highs through the winter are in the 20's, and nighttime lows at The Inlet during the winter ordinarily plunge into the 0's. Whitewater paddling is good on Otter Creek; The Inlet is not the only spot nearby, Calfhead Pond is a nearby lake. You definitely have to go for The Inlet. The Inlet is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Moose River Camp Grounds is a perfect local campground; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Snow Ridge is relatively near.                  The Inlet is a good spot of common rain; August is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is February.
