The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not sufficient time. Going for a hike along the Treadway Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and you can never get enough of the good skiing at Gore Mountain. All through the months of summer here at Indian Pond, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's. When the night sets       in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are frequently in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Indian Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at West Mountain is one of those things you just must do, and a great close by hotel is The Sagamore. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. Float down the rapids of Schroon River in a kayak, as expected you could also have a look at Long                  Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. Any time is a good time at Indian Pond if you have a thing about the outdoors. Get covered with water paddling on Schroon River, and Blue Lagoon on Lake Georg is a glorious site to get some rest. Scenic View Campground is a good local campground, and a lake nearby is Pole Hill Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Hidden Pond Campsite is a perfect campground nearby; hiking along the Berrymile Pond Trail is pleasant fun. Indian Pond gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
