From Indian Lake you acquire a tremendous panorama of Baldface Mountain, and going for a hike on the Northville Lake Placid Trail is always a splendid adventure. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Adirondack Mountains. Very gorgeous scenery and splendid skiing is what you get at Gore Mountain; there are good places to explore along the Sucker Brook Trail. At Indian Lake during the summer months highs are in the       70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while Indian Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. So much exciting stuff in the Adirondack Mountains, just unbelievable. Big Brook is a splendid local stream, and float down the rapids of Rock River in a kayak. Indian Lake is a good place of normal rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with                  the most rain; the driest of the months is February. Camping at Hoss's Country Campground is always a magnificent experience, and you can go for a hike on the Oregon Trail. This lake is so wonderful. That right there is a lot already, but it continues; Indian Lake has it all. If you came to camp Cedar Pond Campground is a great location to do that, and as expected, this is a tremendous area for folks who like lakes, Adirondack Lake is a lake around here. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Indian River, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes?
