Be careful coming to Indian Field Pond, you might not ever want to return home again. On a nice day you can visit Smith Mill Swamp, a swamp near Indian Field Pond, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Bald Hill Trail. Callicoon Creek - East Branch has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot nearby, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Schiff Trail. While you're here at Indian       Field Pond you can play some golf at Island Glen Country Club, and camping at Indian Field Pond is great fun, Happy Days Campground is a great local campground. If you came for an overnight stay Woodstock On The Lake Campgrounds is a great spot to camp, and Indian Field Pond is not the only place close by, Black Lake is a close by lake. Indian Field Pond is a pretty wet place usually with a great deal of rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain                  while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Golden Swan Motel; Eldred Preserve Resort is a magnificent place to get some rest. All through the warmest time of the year highs here at Indian Field Pond get into the 70's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Indian Field Pond temperatures sink to the 10's. On a pleasant day at Indian Field Pond you can take a hike along the Lost Cabin Trail, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Delaware River. This lake is so wonderful.
