Stay the night at Ripplewood Campground, unsurprisingly you could also explore Crystal Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Gotta ski! Dry Hill is a great location to do that, and dry warm beds await you at Candlewood Suites LERAY-WATERTOWN. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Hyde Lake rocks! Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Black Creek. There's so much to do here at Hyde Lake that you need       to camp here for a while, Kring Point State Park is a great spot for that. The annual rainfall here at Hyde Lake is about average; November is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Black River in the vicinity of Hyde Lake, and if you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Watertown-Fort Drum. High temperatures at Hyde Lake through the warm days of summer are                  in the 70's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows during the winter for Hyde Lake tend to be in the 0's.
