There's so much to do here at Hunter Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Hunter Lake Campgrounds is a nice place for that. A perfect vista of wonderful Bald Mountain is available from Hunter Pond, and Frog Hollow is in close proximity, and is a wonderful place. A day on the slopes of Belleayre is just what you need, and you'll come across a charming lake called       Cranberry Pond. If you came to camp Covered Bridge Campsite is a pleasant spot to do that, and if you need a location to stay Lincoln Motel is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Seager West Branch Trail; get covered with water paddling on Mill Brook. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. The snow is wonderful at Holiday Mountain, and some of the water close by flows, like Hunter Brook. This lake is so wonderful. All                  through the warm months highs here at Hunter Pond get into the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Hunter Pond temperatures plunge to the 10's.
