Dan Luffman: Hundred Acre Pond has numerous fish species present, including Northern Pike, Yellow Perch, Sunfish, Largemouth Bass, Brown Bullhead and a few Chain Pickerel. The pond is generally shallow, with extensive weed beds extending almost to the surface in most places. Several open pockets are available however, and the water is quite clear. No power boats are allowed, but a small boat launch is present for canoes and similar craft.

to stay Residence Inn Rochester is a tremendous choice, and Erie Canal is a perfect whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Hundred Acre Pond is not the only spot close by, Round Pond is a close by lake, and during
your tour here you'll meet some folks from Rochester for sure. Everybody loves Woodchuck Hollow, and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Irondequoit Creek.
