If you need a location to stay Best Western University Inn is a wonderful choice, and Natural Bridge/Watertown KOA is a delightful campground nearby. Drift down the rapids of Oswegatchie River - West Branch in a kayak; a good close by hotel is Comfort Suites Canton. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Boland Creek; Huckleberry Lake is a great site to visit for more than one day,       Eel Weir is a great site to camp nearby. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Huckleberry Lake; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. The fine folks of Ogdensburg-Massena like to hang out close by; since you're here, you could explore Pork Creek. Throughout the summer highs here at Huckleberry Lake get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's.                  Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's; night lows through the winter for Huckleberry Lake tend to be in the 0's.
