All the water falling down from the sky makes Horseshoe Pond a wet place; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most while February is generally the driest month. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Horseshoe Pond. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. If you need a location to stay Knights Inn Little Falls is a wonderful choice, and one of the major traits of the surroundings of Horseshoe Pond is Burnt Mountain. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Horseshoe Pond. There's great hiking along the Norridge Trail, and hey, Gotta ski right? McCauley Mountain is a great place to do that. Lakes are such serene places, why not pop by Fox Pond in close proximity to Horseshoe Pond; Horseshoe Pond is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Nicks Lake Campgrounds is a splendid local campground.
