Whitewater paddling is good on Otter Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Stillwater Motel. Hopsicker Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Happy Hollow Campground is a glorious local campground, and why not head up to Snow Ridge and strap some skis to your feet. The amount of rain that falls at Hopsicker Pond is close to the national average; the month of August is the wettest with most of       the rain; the driest of the months is February. You could also stop at Beach Millpond while you're here at Hopsicker Pond; it's close by, and Brantingham Inn Motel is a fine place to get some rest. If only every place had this much outdoors cool things, what a great globe it would be. Paddling on Independence River is so much fun. For the duration of the summertime at Hopsicker Pond highs are typically in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to                  the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Hopsicker Pond tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
