A pleasant location to camp here at Honk Lake is Catskill Mountain Ranch and Camping Club; paddling on Rondout Creek is so much fun. Going
for a hike along the Kanape Jeep Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Kingston here. Honk Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is February.
