Honey Pond is right by the Treadway Mountain Trail; a great nearby hotel is Mountain Pines Motel. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Honey Pond. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Honey Pond has to offer, you can camp at Medcalf Acres Campsite; the Short Swing Trail offers hiking at its best. You just can't imagine       the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Adirondack Mountains has to offer. Blue Ridge Motel is a fine place to get some rest, and getting to Pyramid Brook from Honey Pond is easy. In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Schroon River, and at Honey Pond you can catch a glimpse of Antwine Hill. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Having a fine time in the Adirondack Mountains is trouble-free.                  Do visit Arnold Pond in the vicinity of Honey Pond, it's a lovely lake, and Putnam Creek has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby. Take a hike on the Rock Pond Trail. There's so much to do here at Honey Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Schroon Lake Campground is a great place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime highs at Honey Pond generally tend to be in the 70's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Honey Pond.
