The high level of rainfall makes Home Pond a pretty wet place; most of the rain falls throughout November, and September meanwhile is the driest month. During your stay at Home Pond do explore close by Sammys Beach, and Gansett Green Manor is a nice place to get some rest. You'll find a picturesque lake called Cherry Hill Pond near Home Pond, and during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Norwich-New London for sure.       This lake is so wonderful. One of the best things about Home Pond is its proximity to Maidstone Park Beach, and if you came for an overnight stay Rocky Neck State Park is a brilliant place to camp. If you want to stop at some out of the ordinary stuff, stop at Crow Head, and a great nearby hotel is Sea Crest On the Ocean. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Home Pond. A trip to Captain Kid Hollow rejuvenates the spirit, and Bostwick Bay is in                  close proximity and always great to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant swamp right next door to Home Pond is Bostwick Creek. Throughout the summertime at Home Pond highs are usually in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are commonly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Home Pond.
