There's so much to do here at Holp Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Roscoe Campsites is a great spot for that, and Basket Lake is a perfect lake nearby. Go for a hike on the Schiff Trail, and Hills Country Inn is a delightful place to get some rest. For the period of the months of summer here at Holp Pond, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's while night lows are mostly       in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Holp Pond temperatures drop to the 10's. This spot is excellent, just explore all the cool stuff to do right next door to Holp Pond. Soar down the rapids of Callicoon Creek - North Branch in a kayak; obviously, all our national parks are pleasant places to visit and Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River is no exception. Holp Pond gets a lot of water;                  the wettest month of the year is generally May, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is February. Twin Village Golf Club is a golf course in close proximity to Holp Pond; a good nearby hotel is Campbell Inn. This lake is so wonderful.
