    A visit to Holleys Pond is always a good idea. Really great skiing awaits you at Mountain Creek, and Ash Swamp is an out of the ordinary swamp right next door to Holleys Pond. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Holleys Pond that you need to camp here for a while, American Family Campground is a fine place for that; after a long day outdoors The Lodge at Rock Hill is a glorious location to spend a night or two.
 
   You can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Holiday Mountain, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Lost Cabin Trail. You clearly must go for Holleys Pond. If you come at the right time of year, Neversink River offers some wonderful whitewater, and hiking along the Peenpack Trail is glorious fun. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Holleys Pond has to offer, you can camp at Oakland Valley Campgrounds, and if you need  
               a location to stay Wurtsboro - Days Inn is a splendid choice.
Holleys Pond gets lots of water; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Holleys Pond. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. During the winter the highs are regularly in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Holleys Pond dip into the 10's. You're perhaps addicted to lakes, Sand Pond is one of those close by. Lakes are good; Prospect Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Holleys Pond.
