This lake is so wonderful. Woods Valley has great slopes and a friendly staff, and Trail's End Campground is a great campground nearby. Yeah, come here to Hinckley Reservoir for a tremendous time. After a long day outdoors Utica Red Roof Inn is a good site to spend a night or two, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Forty Mountain       Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Motel - Utica is a great spot to get some rest, and if you're here you can play some golf at Newport Golf Club Of. While you're here at Hinckley Reservoir it's a fine idea to visit Elm Flats, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Herkimer Reservoir. This is a pleasant area for people who like lakes. Thomas Pond is a lake close at hand, and a tremendous spot for whitewater                  paddling is Black River. Hinckley Reservoir frequently gets a large amount of rain; most of the rain falls through September; February meanwhile is the driest month. Hinckley Reservoir is right by the Stone Dam Trail; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Beaver Meadow Creek. You can run the rapids of Little Black Creek right next door to Hinckley Reservoir, and you can stay the night at Trails End.
