Hillside Lake is not the only spot close by, Cromwell Lake is a close by lake, and what would winter be without some skiing at Sterling Forest. Summertime at Hillside Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Hillside Lake. This is no       location for people who don’t like to have a good time. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Ramapo River, and pleasant hiking is available along the Ramapo-Dunderberg Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Central Valley Golf Club is a golf course close to Hillside Lake, and camping is available at Camp wabenaki. You could also have a look at Shadow Lake since you're here at Hillside Lake; it's close by, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Hillside Lake;                  Breakneck Ridge Trail is a splendid local trail. If you like the outdoors, you'll adore Hillside Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mt. Peter since you're here, and a great close by hotel is Hampton Inn Harriman Woodbury. Hillside Lake is a wet location that gets a great deal of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. Camping at Robert Moses is always a tremendous experience, and if you need a location to stay Americas Best Value Inn/Central Valley is a good choice.
