There are plenty of people from Rutland here at Hills Pond. Lakes? Sure, Crystal Lake is in the neighborhood, and a pleasant place to camp here at Hills Pond is Lake Bomoseen Camp Ground. Hills Pond is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Bomoseen State Park Campground is a splendid local campground, and a golf course nearby is Lake St Catherine Country Club. Take a hike on the       Glen Lake Trail; from Hills Pond you acquire a good panorama of Morris Hill. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Hills Pond; the nighttime is quite colder of course, ordinarily in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Hills Pond are in the 0's. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Hills Pond is so good! If you need a place to stay Panorama Motel is a delightful choice; you can run the rapids                  of Poultney River. From a rainfall point of view Hills Pond is a relatively normal spot; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Dry warm beds await you at Motel Panorama; why not take a refreshing hike along the Bomoseen Hiking Loop. This lake is so wonderful.
