If you are traveling by, why not stop by Hillburn Reservoir. Not far from Hillburn Reservoir, you'll find Sheppard Pond which is a beautiful lake, and don't leave Hillburn Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Cannonball Trail. Be careful coming to Hillburn Reservoir, you might not ever want to return home again. take a look at while you're here, and beaches are delightful and New Sebago Beach is no exception. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Pequannock River, and hiking
is a popular thing to do around Hillburn Reservoir; Pine Meadow Trail is a magnificent local trail. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Mt. Peter. Good hiking is available
along the Kakiat Trail; after a long day outdoors Sheraton Crossroads Hotel is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. All through the long summer days highs here at Hillburn Reservoir get into the 80's while overnight lows are
usually in the 60's. Highs during the winter are regularly in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Hillburn Reservoir. A glorious site like The Bowl here at Hillburn Reservoir is too good to miss, and if you need a site to
stay Courtyard By Marriott Mahwah is a brilliant choice. Hit the slopes at Sterling Forest in the neighborhood, and you can stay the night at Camp wabenaki. Hillburn Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month of November
is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. At Hillburn Reservoir you can distinguish Bald Mountain; playing golf is lots of fun at Apple Ridge Country Club.
