Throughout the warmest time of the year here at Hill Top Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Hill Top Lake. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. There's whitewater on Sixmile Creek for all you adrenaline junkies, and       La Hacienda Inn is a delightful place to get some rest. Stay the night at Catatonk Creek Campsite; do check out Lake Diana, it's a pretty lake. This lake is so wonderful. Empire Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to, and dry warm beds await you at Country Inn & Suites By Carlson of Ithaca. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Hill Top Lake; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain; January on the other hand is the driest.                  Get your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of Fall Creek, and lots of folks from Ithaca come here. Playing golf is lots of fun at Catatonk Golf Club; obviously South Branch Catatonk Creek is a lovely stream that is worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful.
