Hill Lake is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. There are delightful spots to look at along the Comfort Trail, and Comfort Inn & Suites is a great location to get some rest. Going for a hike on the Cannonball Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and obviously Long House Creek flows through this region. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Hill Lake. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Hill Lake tend to be in the 10's. & Suites CHESTER-MONROE-GOSHEN. All the water falling down from the sky makes Hill Lake a wet location; most of the rain falls during May, and February is when it's the driest.
Really perfect skiing awaits you at Mt. Peter, and
a brilliant place to camp here at Hill Lake is Motor Sports Marina and Campground. Go for a hike on the Ramapo-Dunderberg Trail, and Hill Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Black Bear Campground is a fine local campground.
If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Hickory Hill Golf Course is in the vicinity, and Sterling Forest has magnificent slopes and a friendly staff.
