The beauty of Hill Lake is reason enough to stop by. During the summertime here at Hill Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Hill Lake. Going for a hike on the Ramapo-Dunderberg Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and a wonderful site for whitewater paddling is Ramapo River. This lake is

| | so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a good nearby course is Hickory Hill Golf Course, and if you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pequannock River.
There is a fine hiking trail close to Hill Lake called the Comfort Trail, and a nice place to camp here at Hill Lake is Black Bear Campground. Camping is available at Motor Sports Marina and Campground, and you can never get enough of the pleasant skiing at Mt. | |

After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites is a great site to spend a night or two, and it's a good idea to explore Long House Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Warwick Motel is a splendid place to get some rest, and
the Cannonball Trail is a glorious hiking trail nearby. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. Looking for something near Hill Lake? Glenmere Lake is in the neighborhood, and delightful skiing awaits you at Sterling
Forest.
Hill Lake usually gets much precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is February.
