High Pond gets a good deal of water; August is when you get the most rain here; February meanwhile is the driest month. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Adirondack Mountains has to offer. Take a hike on the Big Deer Pond Trail, and High Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Robinson's Iga is a magnificent local campground. A tremendous place to camp here at High Pond is Browns Tract       Pond State Campground, and High Pond is not the only location close by, Big Deer Pond is a close by lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Oswegatchie River - East Branch for all you adrenaline junkies, and if you get bored of High Pond you could also take a look at nearby Tamarack Pond. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things close to High Pond. The vista                  of Tomar Mountain from High Pond is beautiful, and you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Sixmile Creek Trail.
