Everybody close by loves skiing at Labrador Mountain, and Days Inn Cortland / Mc Graw is a glorious place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Greek Peak is a splendid location to do that, and High Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Country Hills       is a delightful local campground. For the period of the summer highs here at High Lake get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at High Lake. And if that's not sufficient, there's a lot more to do in the vicinity of High Lake. Dean Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and an afternoon playing golf at Maple                  Hill Golf Club is always a delight. High Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout June; February is when it's the driest.
