If you're a golfer then a glorious close by course is Liverpool Golf & Public Country Club; Hiawatha Lake is not the only place nearby, Woodland Reservoir is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Econo       Lodge University is a glorious spot to get some rest; a day on the slopes of Song Mountain is just what you need. For the duration of the summertime here at Hiawatha Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Hiawatha Lake are in the 10's. A good spot to camp here at Hiawatha Lake is Oneida Shores Park, and                  if you've had enough of Hiawatha Lake, Webster Pond is nearby.
