The Woodtown Trail offers hiking at its best, and if the weather is pretty, you get a perfect panorama of Bald Mountain from Hessian Lake. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Moodna Creek; a day on the slopes of Sterling Forest is just what you need. Hessian Lake is a relatively wet place generally with lots of precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here while February is ordinarily the driest month. Just

You simply should check out Anthonys Nose since you're here at Hessian Lake; a round of golf at nearby The Garrison Golf Club is a nice way to kill some time. choice. So many amusing things to do at Hessian Lake, so little time. Popolopen Creek is a glorious whitewater spot right next door to Hessian Lake, and great hiking is available along the Stillwell Lake Trail. If you're here at Hessian
Lake, do take a spree to Doodletown Bight; there's pleasant hiking along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Hessian Lake, you could also check out nearby Roe Pond, and there's
some flowing water nearby, Broccy Creek is a stream you can take a look at while you're here. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Hessian Lake with nighttime lows in the 60's. All through the winter highs are regularly in the 30's while Hessian Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's.
