Peter has great slopes and a friendly staff. Hidden Valley is a very popular ski area around here. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Henneside has to offer, you can camp at Indian Lake Camp. This lake is so wonderful. Glide down the rapids of Sandburg Creek in a kayak, and in close proximity to Lake Henneside you discover a       golf course called Wallkill Golf Club. So many enjoyable things to do here at Lake Henneside, too great to be true. Howard Johnson Hotel - Middletown is a brilliant place to get some rest, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Vernooy Falls Trail. A wonderful lake like Lake Jerry close to Lake Henneside is a pleasant location to visit, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Middletown is a glorious site to spend a night or two. For the                  period of the summertime here at Lake Henneside, high temperatures generally reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and overnight lows through the winter for Lake Henneside tend to be in the 10's. Lakes are such serene spots, why not pop by Silver Lake close to Lake Henneside, and you can stay the night at Ring Homestead Camp. Lake Henneside mostly gets much precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
