It's a glorious idea to check out South Branch Pakanasink Creek, it's in the neighborhood of Lake Henneside, and Mt. Peter has great slopes and a friendly staff. Hidden Valley is a very popular ski area around here. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Henneside has to offer, you can camp at Indian Lake Camp. This lake is so wonderful. Howard Johnson Hotel - Middletown is a brilliant place to get some rest, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Vernooy Falls Trail. month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Comfort Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and if you come at the right time of year, Beer Kill River - West Branch offers some splendid whitewater.
