There are some great whitewater spots on North Sandy Creek, and if you've had enough of Henderson Pond, Crystal Lake is nearby. Henderson Pond is a good site of typical rainfall; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Very picturesque scenery and brilliant skiing is what you get at Dry Hill, and Southwick Beach is a good campground       nearby. This lake is so wonderful. So much fun stuff to do at Henderson Pond, so little time. Dry warm beds await you at Pulaski Super 8 Motel, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Southwich Beach. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Ramada Inn is a delightful choice; get yourself into a kayak and hit Sandy Creek. The Willows on the Lake is a glorious local campground; most likely you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure,                  Black Pond is just a very short distance away. Lots of people from Watertown-Fort Drum come to Henderson Pond, and if you're looking for a beach nearby we recommend El Dorado Beach. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Henderson Pond.
