This lake is so wonderful. Beards Creek is near Hemp Pond and is always a joy to stop at, and Hemp Pond is a magnificent location to camp, Ridge Campsite is a magnificent location. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Oatka Creek, and Swain has magnificent slopes and a friendly staff. Having a wonderful time at Hemp Pond is trouble-free. On a beautiful day you get a vista of       Dewey Hill from Hemp Pond. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Keshegua Creek, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Geneseo is a wonderful location to spend a night or two. Letchworth State Park is a tremendous campground here, and a splendid close by hotel is Country Inn And Suites By Carlson Mount Morris. Hemp Pond is a good place of common rain; June is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. For the period                  of the long summer days highs here at Hemp Pond reach the 80's; the overnight is rather chillier of course, regularly in the 50's.
