Hemp Pond is a nice lake to visit. This place, Hemp Pond, it completely has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Hemp Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Ridge Campsite is a fine local campground, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Keshegua Creek. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not take a look at Mount Morris Lake in the neighborhood of Hemp Pond, and whitewater paddling is delightful

| | on Oatka Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Quality Inn Geneseo is a wonderful spot to get some rest; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Beards Creek. There's so much to do here at Hemp Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Letchworth State Park is a great site for that, and a good close by hotel is Country Inn And Suites By Carlson Mount Morris. and through the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Hemp Pond are in the 10's. From a precipitation point of view Hemp Pond is a reasonably
common location; June is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Swain is a splendid local ski area. You'll find a pretty lake called Bull Head Pond near Hemp Pond, and from Hemp Pond you get a great vista of Dewey Hill.
