You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area in the neighborhood of Hemlock Lake has to offer. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Hemlock Lake has to offer, you can camp at Oakland Valley Campgrounds, obviously you could also stop by Panther Pond if you're here; it's not far at all. Whitewater       paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Mongaup River, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Monticello is a perfect place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Schiff Trail. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Hemlock Lake; Peenpack Trail is a fine local trail; pop by nearby Steeny Kill Swamp. Hemlock Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with most of                  the rain is May, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Delaware River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and scenic scenery and great skiing is what you obtain at Holiday Mountain. Summertime highs at Hemlock Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while Hemlock Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's.
