    Lake Heloise is a lake worth visiting. This is no place for people who dont like to have a good time. Looking for something near Lake Heloise? Silver Lake is in the vicinity, and Windham Country Club is a golf course close by. Yeah, come up here to the Catskill Mountains for a delightful time. Dry warm beds await you at Hotel Vienna, and Lake Heloise is right by the Spruceton Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Torchlight Campsites  
   is a delightful place to camp, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Catskill Creek.
A delightful location to stop at near Lake Heloise is Barlow Notch, and you're possibly hooked on lakes, Dolans Lake is one of those close by. For the duration of the long summer days highs here at Lake Heloise reach the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Lake
 
               Heloise. The Catskill Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
Be careful coming to the Catskill Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. A day on the slopes of Hunter Mountain is just what you need; the sight of Ginseng Mountain is beautiful. An average amount of rainfall falls at Lake Heloise; the month with most of the rain is May, and February is when it's the driest. If you go for the outdoors, you'll adore Lake Heloise.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Winwood Inn is a great choice, and do take a hike on the Willow Trail. Camping is available at Doherty's Mountain Campground, and the snow is great at Windham Mountain. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Phoenicia Trail, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on Ten Mile Creek.

...ith two beautiful waterfalls for your pleasure. Take a dip in the crystal clear water to cool off or try your luck at trout fishing. The creek bed holds many fossils for you to find and collect. Our pond is the home of many bass and blue gills and some goldfish and coi. Many, many frogs and salamanders and pollywogs also reside there and will delight the youngsters. All sites have picnic tables and fireplaces. Firewood and ice is available for you to purchase. We are located in the beautiful Schoharie Valley and nestled between the Catskill, Helderberg and Adirondack Mountains. Just 3 miles south of the small town of Middleburgh and about 10 miles from the college town of Cobleskill. Albany and Schenectady are about 30-45 minutes away and Saratoga Springs, Cooperstown is nearby. Howe Caverns, Secret Caverns and Iroquois Indian Museum is 15 minutes away. This is not your typical campground where you are on top of all your neighbors. There's plenty of space between camps and the trees provide seclusion. The beach and lake are beautiful, excellent for swimming, fishing and boating. I definitely recommend this campground....
