choice; if you came to camp White Birches is a pleasant spot to do that. This lake is one of the great places here in the Catskill Mountains. You can run the rapids of Catskill Creek next to Lake Heloise, and nearby Barlow Notch
is a good location to go. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Catskill Mountains will keep you coming back persistently. While you're here at Lake Heloise you can play some golf at Windham Country Club; do take a hike on the
Spruceton Trail. High temperatures at Lake Heloise throughout the summertime months are in the 70's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Lake Heloise dip into the 0's.
