Dry warm beds await you at Stiefvater's Lakeside Cottage; you can stay the night at Cape Woods Campground. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Marina Motel is a good choice, and near Helldiver Pond you hit upon a golf course called Inlet Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of Indian River in a kayak; Browns Tract Pond       State Campground is a good campground here. Summertime highs at Helldiver Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows all through the winter for Helldiver Pond tend to be in the 0's. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Adirondack Mountains rules! If you come at the right time of year, Moose River - South Branch offers some fine whitewater;                  the summit of Mount Tom can be distinguished from Helldiver Pond. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the Adirondack Mountains has to offer. Really delightful skiing awaits you at McCauley Mountain, and don't leave Helldiver Pond without first going for a hike along the Norridge Trail. Helldiver Pond is a wet location that gets a large amount of rain; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February. If only every place had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great globe it would be. There's great hiking along the Sucker Brook Trail, and hey, Benedict Creek is a fine local stream.
