This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Green Ridge Golf Club, and the skiing at Mountain Creek is good. Throughout the summertime months, highs usually are in the 70's at Lake Helen. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and all through the dark hours       in the winter at Lake Helen temperatures descend to the 10's. Lakes are great; Mill Pond is a lake that's near Lake Helen, and dry warm beds await you at VALLEY BROOK INN AND COTTAGES. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lake Helen you can take a hike along the Lost Cabin Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Neversink River, and Lake Helen is a brilliant spot to visit for more than one day, Otisville                  Camp Grounds is a brilliant spot to camp nearby. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things to do are really abundant here at Lake Helen. You're possibly addicted to lakes, Holleys Pond is one of those close by, and Camp Deerpark is a great local campground. Lake Helen is a rather wet place mostly with lots of rainfall; most of the rain falls through May; February is when it's the driest.
