A visit to Helderberg Lake is always a good idea. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Catskill Mountains has to offer. Really magnificent skiing awaits you at Hickory Ski Center, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Windham Mountain. There are other places here than Helderberg Lake, for example Thompsons Lake, and after a long day outdoors Stardust Motor Inn is a pleasant location to spend a night or two.

| | During the warm months at Helderberg Lake highs are generally in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the winter are commonly in the 20's; through the dark hours in the winter at Helderberg Lake temperatures plunge to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. things in one place! The Catskill Mountains rules! Why not camp at Woodstock Lake Assn-office while you're here at Helderberg Lake; Warner Lake is a good lake close by. Helderberg Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a pretty outdoors
paradise. Thompson's Lake State Park is a good local campground, and Wolf Hill is trouble-free to spot from Helderberg Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Catskill Mountains. Helderberg Lake gets a normal amount
of annual precipitation; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while February is commonly the driest month.
