Dry warm beds await you at SUPER 8 MOTEL - SCHENECTADY/ALBANY AREA, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Hickory Ski       Center is rather near. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Catskill Mountains. Windham Mountain is a great local ski area, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Basic Creek. Helderberg Lake is a beautiful lake in the Catskill Mountains. If you need a spot to stay Stardust Motor Inn is a splendid choice, and Ten Mile Creek has a fine whitewater paddling spot close                  by. At Helderberg Lake through the long summer days highs are in the 80's, and the night is a little cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's.
