This lake is so wonderful. There are glorious places to discover along the Northville Lake Placid Trail, and a delightful spot to camp here at Hedgehog Pond is Blue Jay Campsites. Be careful coming to Hedgehog Pond, you might not ever want to go back home again. Don't leave Hedgehog Pond without first going for a hike along the Ash Pond Trail; Hedgehog Pond is not the only location       close by, Lower Cat Pond is a close by lake. The high level of rainfall makes Hedgehog Pond a quite wet spot; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. All year is a perfect time in the Adirondack Mountains if you adore the outdoors. Paddling on Bog River is so much fun, and camping at Whispering woods is always a pleasant experience. Bog Stream flows through this region; if you need a spot to                  stay Northwood Cabins is a brilliant choice. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. At Hedgehog Pond all through the warm months highs are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Hedgehog Pond plunge into the 0's. There's magnificent hiking along the Sixmile Creek Trail, and a glorious close by hotel is Red Top Inn. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Adirondack Mountains, too brilliant to be true. Buck Mountain can be seen from Hedgehog Pond, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Round Lake Outlet.
