Heddens Lake is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Mohonk Mountain House is a great site to spend a night or two; going for a hike on the Comfort Trail is always a nice adventure. Heddens Lake is in a good location in the shadow of the Shawangunk Mountains. | | more than a day at, Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park At Lazy River is a tremendous local campground. If you came to camp Lazy River Campground is a good spot to do that, and don't leave Heddens Lake without first going for a hike along the Vernooy Falls Trail. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular location for folks from Kingston, and a good spot for whitewater paddling is Peters Kill River. A lake nearby is Tillson Lake, and there are good places to look | |

at along the Kanape Jeep Trail. A large amount of rain falls at Heddens Lake; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; February is when it's the driest. High temperatures at Heddens Lake through the days of summer
are in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are typically in the 30's while Heddens Lake nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. So many fun things
to do here at Heddens Lake, too magnificent to be true. The panorama of gorgeous Shawangunk Mountains near Heddens Lake is great; Lexington at Hudson Valley Resort is a splendid place to get some rest. Heddens Lake is not the only spot close by, Mohonk Lake is a close by lake, and unsurprisingly Mara Kill flows through this vicinity.
