    Do stop by Heddens Lake while you're in this part of New York. Camping at Heddens Lake is magnificent fun, Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park At Lazy River is a magnificent local campground; if you're here you can take a hike along the Vernooy Falls Trail. During the summertime months here at Heddens Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows  
   through the winter for Heddens Lake tend to be in the 10's. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Mt. Peter, and going for a hike along the Kanape Jeep Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
Lexington at Hudson Valley Resort is a good place to get some rest; you can run the rapids of Peters Kill River. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Heddens Lake. You'll meet a lot of folks from Kingston here; at Heddens
 
               Lake you can see Shawangunk Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. The region where Heddens Lake is, is dominated by the Shawangunk Mountains; Heddens Lake is a good place to camp, Pine Acres Camp is a good place.
Heddens Lake is a rather wet place usually with a lot of precipitation; through May this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Mohonk Mountain House, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Comfort Trail. Mara Kill is a tremendous local stream; Wallkill River is a splendid whitewater spot nearby.
