This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Interesting geology is available here; Eagle Cliff is near Heart Pond; hiking is a popular thing to do around Heart Pond; Bear Pond Trail is a delightful local trail. Heart Pond is a place with many visitors from Glens Falls, naturally you could also go to Bear Pond if you're here; it's not far at all. If you want a brilliant time in       the great outdoors just come on up to the Adirondack Mountains. After a long day outdoors Best Western Ticonderoga Inn & Suites is a great spot to spend a night or two; why not pop by a swamp like Peshette Swamp since you're here at Heart Pond. For the period of the summertime here at Heart Pond, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's, and during                  the dark hours in the wintertime at Heart Pond temperatures plunge to the 0's. These mountains rock, just look at all the fun things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. The Rock Pond Trail offers hiking at its best, and Ticonderoga - Super 8 Motel is a great site to get some rest. A good place to camp here at Heart Pond is Green Acres By The Brook; from Heart Pond you acquire a brilliant vista of Bear Pond Mountain. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do in close proximity to Heart Pond. An average amount of rainfall falls at Heart Pond; most of the rain falls during August, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is North Pond; in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on La Chute River. If only every site had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great planet it would be. There's great hiking along the Clear Pond Trail, and Putnam Creek is a good whitewater spot close by.
