Do stop by Hayes Flow while you're in this part of New York. Camping at Hayes Flow is brilliant fun, Rainbows End is a brilliant local campground, and hiking along the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail is pleasant fun. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Oxbow Lake Motel is a delightful site to spend a night or two; you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Sucker Brook Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's

| | to Hayes Flow. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Hayes Flow temperatures dip to the 0's.
That right there is a load already, but it goes on; Hayes Flow has it all. The peak of Buckhorn Mountain can be distinguished from Hayes Flow, and skiing at Gore Mountain is one of those things you just should do. This lake is so wonderful. | |

There are plenty of folks from Gloversville here at Hayes Flow. Hayes Flow is a good place of normal rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is generally the driest month.
But wait, there's more enjoyable
stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Get wet paddling on Sacandaga River - Middle Branch, and Ranch Side Park is a good campground here. Paddling on Sacandaga River - East Branch is so much fun, and Hayes Flow is right by the
Oregon Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains.
Having a great time in the Adirondack Mountains is uncomplicated. Algonquin Motel is a fine spot to get some rest, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Buckhorn Ponds.
