All the water falling down from the sky makes Hawleys Lake a wet place; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Heckscher State Park is a magnificent place to do that, and on a pretty day you can stop by Cedar Overlook Beach. Camping at Hither Hills State Park is always a nice experience; a visit       to Cedar Beach is always a delightful idea. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area right next door to Hawleys Lake has to offer. Bergen Point Golf Course is a splendid golf course nearby, and needless to say, this is a great neighborhood for people who like lakes, Lake Capri is a lake in the vicinity. While you're here at Hawleys Lake you will meet lots of folks from nearby Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk. Taking a little                  journey to nearby Babylon Cove is a delightful idea, and after a long day outdoors Sunrise Inn is a splendid location to spend a night or two. Through the warm days of summer at Hawleys Lake highs are usually in the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Hawleys Lake.
