Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Hatch Pond with overnight lows in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Hatch Pond descend into the 0's. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the       Adirondack Mountains. Hatch Pond is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Paradise Pines Camping Resort is a brilliant local campground, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Ticonderoga Inn & Suites is a great place to spend a night or two. Whitewater paddling is fine on The Branch, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Peaked Hill Trail. Ticonderoga - Super 8 Motel is a good place to get some rest, and the Long Swing Trail                  is a glorious hiking trail close by. Hatch Pond gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Schroon River, and there is a tremendous hiking trail close by called the Pharoah Mountain Trail. Man, is there a lot of fun stuff to do right next door to Hatch Pond.
