The skiing       at Hickory Ski Center is great, and if you're dropping by from Gloversville, you won't be the only one. Through the summertime highs here at Harrower Pond get into the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. Through the winter highs are generally in the 20's, and overnight lows at Harrower Pond during the winter mostly sink into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. The high level of rain makes Harrower Pond a relatively wet location; the wettest month of the year is regularly June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. Bunn Creek is in the neighborhood of Harrower Pond and is always a joy to stop by, and Fox Creek is a pleasant whitewater spot nearby.
