Georgia Brook has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby; a pretty lake like Middle Flow is a good place to explore. Little Pond is a pleasant lake in the neighborhood of Harrisburg Lake, and a great close by hotel is Lake George/Warrensburg Super 8 Motel. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Harrisburg Lake. There's brilliant hiking along the Oregon Trail; a nice spot to camp here at Harrisburg       Lake is Sacandaga Campground. From a rainfall point of view Harrisburg Lake is a rather common place; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Adirondack Mountains. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on East Stony Creek, and why not camp at Northhampton                  Beach Recreation if you're here at Harrisburg Lake. Summertime highs at Harrisburg Lake usually tend to be in the 70's, and the night is slightly chillier of course, frequently in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Harrisburg Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the pleasant skiing at Gore Mountain; why not take a little visit to Halfway Brook since you're here. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Adirondack Mountains.
