All the water falling down from the sky makes Hancock Reservoir a wet site; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. Hancock Reservoir is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Twin Falls Campground is a pleasant local campground, and if you need a location to stay Point Mountain Lodge Bed & Breakfast is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. The       snow is good at Elk Mountain; naturally Bear Brook is a wonderful stream that is worth a visit. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Hancock Reservoir. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Hancock Reservoir tend to be in the 10's. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Hancock Reservoir. Head up to Mount Tone and strap some skis to your feet,                  and the summit of Coon Hill can be observed from Hancock Reservoir. Capra Inn Motel is a great spot to get some rest, and Busfield Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ouleout Creek, and Cobas Hollow is a pleasant place to spend some time. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Hancock Golf Course is in the neighborhood. There's so much to do here at Hancock Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, West Branch Angler and Sportman is a nice spot for that.
