Hancock Reservoir is a good site to visit for more than one day, Twin Falls Campground is a good site to camp nearby; everybody nearby loves skiing at Mount Tone. Hancock Reservoir gets a lot of water; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. A great location to go to close to Hancock Reservoir is Cobas Hollow, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Sidney is a good choice. The summit

| | of Coon Hill can be distinguished from Hancock Reservoir, and Busfield Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at. West Branch Angler and Sportman is a perfect campground nearby, and hey, Bear Brook is a great local stream. Throughout the summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Hancock Reservoir. All through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Hancock Reservoir. | |

This lake is so wonderful. Any time is a good time at Hancock Reservoir if you have a thing about the outdoors. Gotta ski! Elk Mountain is a good place to do that, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go
whitewater paddling on Ouleout Creek. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Hancock Reservoir you can play some golf at Hancock Golf Course, and a lake nearby is Randall Lake.
