     A fine location to camp here at Halls Pond is Lake Lauderdale Campgrounds, and there are plenty of people from Glens Falls here. An average amount of rainfall falls at Halls Pond; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Batten Kill River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby, and why not head up to West Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. Yeah, come here to Halls  
   Pond for a brilliant time. A forest close to Halls Pond is Castle Green, and in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mettawee River.
The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Willard Mountain; Queensbury Hotel is a good spot to get some rest. Halls Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Catherine Capers is a pleasant local campground, and after a long day outdoors
 
               Glens Falls Lake George Red Roof is a brilliant location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Lily Pond.
You could also stop by Barkley Pond if you're here at Halls Pond; it's nearby, and brilliant hiking is available along the Healing Springs Nature Trail. Through the summertime at Halls Pond highs are frequently in the 80's, and the night is a bit colder of course, regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Halls Pond.
