    Many people like to go to Halls Pond. Halls Pond gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here while February is typically the driest month. At Halls Pond throughout the days of summer highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's; nighttime lows at Halls Pond throughout the winter regularly dip into the 0's. A great close by hotel is Colonell Williams  
   Resort, and not far from Halls Pond you'll find Lily Pond which is a delightful lake.
This place, Halls Pond, it truly has so much outdoors cool stuff. You can never get enough of the fine skiing at Willard Mountain; Halls Pond is a delightful site to camp, Battenkill Sportsquarters Camping is a delightful site. This lake is so wonderful. Castle Green is a good forest region close to Halls Pond, and Batten Kill River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot
 
               nearby. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mettawee River, and after a long day outdoors From The Heart Motel is a good place to spend a night or two.
While you're here at Halls Pond you will meet lots of folks from nearby Glens Falls; Lake Lauderdale Campgrounds is a nice campground here. Really good skiing awaits you at West Mountain, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Healing Springs Nature Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
